On this day in 1967 Aretha Franklin's song "Respect" was released. This week the Vexed Intellects along with Los (AKA "The Baroness" discuss whether or not it's possible for men to "Respect" their platonic women friends enough to NOT try to sleep with them.
This question was broached after an old clip resurfaced of Steve Harvey claiming that 99.9% of men only befriend women with the hopes of bedding them.
Is this true?
The gentlemen and Los also discuss the "talking" phase in relationships, sleeping with other men's wives, closure, seeing a person's "true colors" in anger, & the potential dangers of meeting up with strangers off the internet for sex.
