Company Overview Roy Uy graduated from North Park University in 2009 with a degree in Physical Education and Health. After months of filling out applications and searching for job in a dismal economy, he simply could not find work as a teacher. Still wanting to educate young people in how to be active and live healthy, he had to think of another way. While at his local gym, he noticed a wide variety of people exercising, each pursuing his or her own personal fitness goals. Seeing this sparked an idea: physical activity goes beyond teaching kids in a classroom…it’s a lifestyle. Everybody has a unique goal for their passion and achieving that goal is what creates a purpose in life. Roy thought, "What if I created innovative sports apparel that helps people achieve their purpose of wellness and lifelong activity." And that’s when ONE-P was born.
