KID ASTRONAUT PODCAST EPISODE 7 - This episode features Maggie Brown. Maggie comes from a low income, rural background. She worked hard to get scholarships for her A.A. in English, B.S in Human Nutrition-Dietetics, and Cycle Fusion teacher certification. Her passion for community, health and supporting the vulnerable led her to a local food recovery nonprofit "We Don't Waste", then to event planning for nonprofit fundraisers and festivals. With nearly a decade of yoga practice and a certificate to lead Temple Style Taoist Meditation, she is steeped in a mindfulness that permeates all aspects of life. Her life transformed again when she traveled to Malaysia to connect with half of her ancestry, having never known other people of the culture. TUNE IN PEOPLE!!!
