Hilde Mosse comes from one of the wealthiest families in Berlin and stands to inherit an enormous fortune. But she longs for something more meaningful than the luxurious lifestyle her family provides. So Hilde decides to pursue her dream of becoming a doctor. As the Nazis take power in Germany and the Mosse family is forced to flee, Dr. Hilde Mosse lands in New York having nearly lost everything.. She finds her calling treating the mental health of Black youth – and the symptoms of a racist system. In addition to photographs, school records, and correspondence spanning Hilde Mosse’s entire lifetime, the Mosse Family Collection in the LBI Archives includes the diaries she kept between 1928 and 1934, from the ages of 16-22. [POETRY] If you find a woman who is crying her heart out, just stay beside her. She wants your fingers to wipe her tears the same way she erased your fears. She wants your presence to take away her sadness just like when you were aimless. She wants your embrace to calm her storms and teach her to love her own thorns. And if you find those women, who fight and give light, who love and aim high, who fall and stand tall, who hustle and settle; just stay anyway. For a woman was born to be her own armor, but she also needs an anchor. Just stay. Because she will run in to you, right away. Jakarta, July 22, 2019 | Gaida & Rara…
[POETRY] Let me see your dawn. Let me understand your colors each time you want to disappear and replace your space only for your sun. I want to see the sight of hope which saturated in every inch of your sky. I'll let you be the alpha and I will follow your footprints. Let me dive down deep into your flaws. So I can see what kind of scars that you have which make you feel insecure and unloved. I want to stop all the bleed and be your very first aid. You can be the weakest version of you. I'll put you in my embrace every night so you will feel that everything will gonna be alright. Let me see your dawn, cause I'll be your dusk. Jakarta, July 13, 2019 | Gaida & Rara…
