This week we are reviewing Guillermo del Toro's THE SHAPE OF WATER which combines an old school Universal monster subject and injects it with love and fairytales. In addition we look at David Lean's BRIEF ENCOUNTER in where we find two married people that make a connection with one another and must face the reality of what the future will hold and what could be. It goes much further than that into what we are willing to accept as a society up on the big screen and how our morals change based on scenarios presented.
