Today on this episode of the best podcast for women and women veterans, I have the honor of interviewing Nubia, an amazing female veteran podcast host. We talk about her time in the military, the challenges she faced, and her transition to civilian life.

Nubia, a New England native, joined the Air Force to see more of the world. During her five years of active duty and as a reservist, she traveled to many places, and we discuss her favorite experiences. We also delve into the challenges she faced as a woman serving during Desert Storm, including harassment and other injustices she perceived.

Despite these challenges, Nubia remained resilient and even found joy in serving, like being on a cheerleading squad. However, her biggest heartbreak ultimately led to her transition out of the military. She shares with us how she coped with this transition and what led her to start her own podcast.
