Summary:
It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a wife. Mr and Mrs Bennet discuss the sale of Netherfield Park, the estate in the area. Mr Bennet isn’t too fussed about the sale, but Mrs Bennet is over the moon, as she wishes for one of her daughters to marry him. She insists upon her husband to go visit him to make a proper acquaintance, and he refuses at every step, knowing that he will actually go and just wants to annoy his wife. They briefly discuss their daughters, and which one would be best suited to marry the new Owner of the Estate.
