In this episode I am talking to Esther Adler who survived the war in Germany and witnessed Kristallnacht, that is the Night of Broken Glass. Kristallnacht was a pogrom against Jews carried out by the Nazi Party in Germany on 9–10 November 1938.
Esther does not want to use the word Holocaust and she prefers using the word Shoah, find out her explanation as to why.
