In this episode, we discuss the tragic case of Eileen Sarmenta and Allan Gomez, two university students from the University of the Philippines, Los Banos. In June 1993, Eileen, while preparing for a school paper interview on Mayor Antonio Sanchez, was abducted along with Allan by Sanchez's henchmen. They were violently assaulted and murdered, with the crimes orchestrated by the corrupt mayor. Though Sanchez and his accomplices were tried and sentenced to life in prison for their horrific actions, Sanchez continued to exhibit questionable behaviors even behind bars. The public and the families of the victims remain haunted by the crimes to this day.
