Background:
After being fired by WDJQ on February 12, 2012, DeLuca and Charlotte DiFranco went to the music store and bought a whole bunch of studio equipment to re-launch the show in an - at the time - unheard of way. In the spare bedroom of DeLuca's house a studio was built and after only a week the show was back on - online.
The new - online only - DeLuca Show debuted on February 20, 2012 and this is the first hour of that broadcast.
This episode was groundbreaking, not only because it was the first time a terrestrial radio show streamed exclusively on the internet, but because WDJQ sued DeLuca and Charlotte for violation of their non-compete clauses and "torturous business interference". The case - D.A. Peterson v. DeLuca - set a precedent when the judge ruled against WDJQ.
