Greetings! In this episode of Stamper Cinema we turn the clocks back to 1995 and discuss the cult classic EMPIRE RECORDS.
Empire Records is a comedic / coming-of-age story about a group of record store employees over the course of a single day and their quest to stop the store from being sold to a large chain. In this highly eventful day they laugh, they cry, they have an impromptu funeral and learn about each other along the way. And while this film was panned by critics and rejected at the theaters, Empire Records has gone on to be a massive cult classic, launching the careers of many of the film's lead roles.
