There are so many arbitrary “rules for creators” thrown around out there that as a new creator, it can be overwhelming and feel very rigid. I’ve seen so many creators feel like they have to do certain things, like send as many cold pitches as possible, that it takes time away from them doing things that actually benefit them, like focusing on forming genuine relationships with the brands.
