Manage episode 407359595 series 3559707
Welcome back to another episode of the 360 Money Matters Podcast! We are back again with our monthly ‘Market Wrap’ segment.
In this episode, we are going to talk about economic data that has come out. We start off with conflicting economic data coming out of the US and how it has affected the stock market. We’ll also talk about the Chinese property market as well as rising oil prices and the resulting impact on the broader economy..
Additionally, the Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) has not made any changes to interest rates due to uncertainties surrounding inflation trends and economic recovery. The share market is expected to experience volatility, Australia's tight labor market is expected to continue and retail data shows a slight increase but is likely to turn negative due to rising interest rates and living costs.
