Michael's story is of a young boy from Canada who turned to alcohol at a young age to cope with social and personal anxiety. After years of struggling with alcohol abuse, and even relocating, he realized he could run but could not hide from the root of his addiction. He was attracted to AA through the results of his own father's journey in sobriety. Today Michael has over 35 years sober and Is the chairperson of his local home group.
