Welcome to Drastik Beats Podcast # 2, this particular episode for April 2012 will showcase "DoubleStep," the new sound created by DoubleStep Records Artist, The Doja, aka DJ Doja, aka Mr. Professional (@thedoja). DoubleStep Records was created in June of 2011 by DJ/MC/Producer, The Doja who resides out in Las Vegas, NV. With 17 years of experience in the entertainment industry working as a DJ, a promoter, a manager, a paralegal, an MC, a producer, and a CEO The Doja has acquired a great deal of knowledge about music, business and new ideas. DoubleStep was born out of using hip-hop style DJ tricks and flips on dub, drum&bass and other electronic forms of music to double up the sounds and create "All out Madness." The sound brings hype to the original tracks and allows for doubled up bass lines, snares and vocals to add a buildup effect. As the Creator of DoubleStep, The Doja plans to promote the style through selective remixes, podcasts and original tracks.
