Bio:

Anita has worked in the African travel industry for over 20 years and is MD of the leading representation company, Small World Marketing as well as Founder of The Africa Hub, a web portal offering trusted, insider knowledge on Africa to the trade.

Anita was on the African Travel & Tourism (Atta) board for 14 years as well as being the longest standing and youngest Chair for 4 of those years and Vice-Chair for 2. She is now one of 3 Life Fellows of ATTA. She lives outside Bath, UK with her husband and 3 kids.

As Founder & MD of Africa-specialist representation company, Small World Marketing, and as a former Chair and one of only 2 life-long Fellows of African Travel Trade Association (ATTA), Anita has exceptional knowledge of the Africa travel industry. Over the last 18 months the blow to the African travel industry has been seismic but Anita has applied her passion, energy, and expertise to deal with adversity head on, and to apply all her unique resources to make a meaningful positive impact on travel to Africa. In February she launched The Africa Hub a continent-wide, online training resource, delivered by ‘on-the-ground’ experts who know their countries best. The Africa Hub aims to help further the skills and confidence of agents selling this exciting but complex continent.
