The following is the Transcript of the Podcast: [David Sager]: Hey guys, my name is David Sager. And today I have a very quick episode for you. But an episode that I think is going to be pretty entertaining. So for the rest of this episode, You're going to hear an artificial intelligence recreation of my voice from the app Descript. Ad - voiced by me! [Ai]: Switching complete. Hello, I'm the AI version of David's voice. Thank you for tuning in. The beginning part of this episode was recorded with my 2014 Macbook Pro built in Microphone. The rest is a recreation of my voice from 1 hour worth of recording on the same Macbook Pro microphone with a fan running in the background. All this is made possible by the folks at Descript. They have a fantastic AI that allows you to feed it recordings and it'll learn your voice and how to recreate it. And if you aren't impressed, this is the worst condition you could record yourself at and with the worst choice for a microphone. Meaning the cost of the subscription, $30 is allowing me to tap into this phenomenal program and create new content with the support from artificial intelligence. [Ai]: If you think this is cool you should check out their program. They are not sponsoring this program, I purchased it myself to demonstrate the incredible possibilites of voice replication in our modern times. Not only can you type out what you want to say and the replication of someone's voice speak it, you can also tap into their program for transcribing. Currently I'm working on a short documentary to show how this and other media manipulation tools work. It's saving me hours of work by just plugging recordings into the software and pushing out a transcription in less than 10 minutes. [Ai]: For my fellow content creators I think this is one resource that you should check out. It can be intimidating with new technology, but I will say each step gives us opportunity for good, and opportunity for evil. The question is how will you use the tools at your disposal. [Ai]: David wishes you farewell and hopes you join him as he releases more content on Digital Media Manipulation.
