Raving Ryan was started in October of 2015 by 13-year-old Ryan Anastasio. Ryan started Raving Ryan because of his passion, interest, and enthusiasm for journalism, politics, and public service. On Raving Ryan, Ryan interviews mainly politicians about their backstory, issues facing the state of Connecticut, as well as issues facing the country. Ryan is now 15 and has interviewed people such as Joe Scarborough, Senator Chris Murphy, Congressman Jim Himes, Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro, and many other people. In the Raving Ryan Podcast, Ryan will discuss current events and interview politicians and other figures on many different topics.
