This month’s episode, we are graced with Bruce Hamilton, a Director of the Generation Services Group that provides consulting services through benchmarking to over 200 owners and developers of power plants worldwide! Coming from a background in Chemical Engineering from UC Berkeley, tacked on with an MBA from Harvard, Bruce has had experience with nearly every type of energy source and mode. Wind, hydro, coal, and gas are under his belt from his experiences at GE, LG&E, Avangrid, and most importantly, Guidehouse. Bruce has the experience and expertise across nearly every energy generation, so it is worth your while to listen in to this episode.
Bruce doesn’t stop at explaining the vital services he and his team provide to power plant owners. Throughout our conversation, we got to hear from him about what is holding wind as an energy resource back and how policies are changing that, and the major trends, challenges, and technologies facing the power plant industry today.
