Back from a brief hiatus, (Not So) Deep Shit returns with a TWO-PART EPISODE where Chris and Steve DON'T TALK ABOUT UFOs!
Yup, you read that right. No UFOs, UAPS, or any other Pentagon acronym, instead we're FINALLY talking about the MARVEL CINEMATIC UNIVERSE!
In this part 1, Chris and Steve reminisce about collecting comic books in the '80s and '90s, what became of their collections, and which storylines were happening in the pages of MARVEL COMICS at the time.
They also discuss how the MCU compares to the DCU, their favorite PHASE of the MCU, the difference between MARVEL and DC heroes, and DC STUDIOS' new direction with James Gunn.
And they end with the question of whether the MCU will ever see a "Re-Boot" and the question: what's the MOST important in superhero movies, the ACTOR or the CHARACTER?
