Like many great ideas, it all started with a family recipe. Pat Upchurch has been cooking with her father and grandmother since she was a child and when her grandmother passed on her cheesecake recipe and mixer, an idea for a business grew. Patty’s Cheesecakes are beloved across St. Louis, especially in their mini format. Upchurch works out of the Baker’s Hub in Chesterfield, a unique communal kitchen housing several local bakeries, and she’s excited to announce she has signed on to open up in the City Foundry Food Hall. The long-awaited project is not quite open yet, however. Progress at the City Foundry continues, but they plan to hold off on opening until its safe to do so. Keep an eye peeled for Patty’s Cheesecakes and other great food vendors once the development opens. In the meantime, don’t miss out on Pat’s creations.
