Persephone Demetriou is desperate to escape the politics of Olympus and the squeaky clean role she’s been forced into as one Demeter’s daughters. She’s made a plan to escape, when she turns 25 and can access her trust fund, but her plans go off the rails when she is forced into a surprise engagement with Zeus, the self-proclaimed king of Olympus with a history of killing his wives. Feeling trapped, she crosses the river Styx into the Lower City, where she is shocked to discover that Hades, who’s been thought dead for years, is alive, running things in the Lower City, and bent on getting revenge against Zeus, after he killed Hades parents. Persephone and Hades make an arrangement that will allow them to both reach their goals. Will they be able to follow through with those plans when they both develop feelings for each other?
