lovetempo is the brainchild of Mattie Safer - singer and bassist for Poolside and The Rapture - and since its inception, Safer has moved with imagination and creativity, fusing saudade sentimentality and jazz-funk excursions, with modern dancefloor sensibilities. Through body, soul, and basslines lovetempo explores the triumphs and travails of the heart. His debut was released on Razor-N-Tape to great acclaim, and his recent single also on RNT, ‘But I Do’ - a collaboration with producer Dougie Stu of Brijean - stole hearts and ears this summer.
