005: The Big D Word

So there's something that people are talking about more and more that is a pretty significant aspect of peoples lives - Depression. I've struggled with it in the past and I remember being warned to not talk about it because it could impact the way people perceived me and my opportunities in the future. The problem I find with this is that it equates a persons mental or physical state with their identity, we are so much more than the circumstances of our existence and equating circumstances with identity prevents us from Living an Outrageously Vibrant Existence.

As you go about your next week see if you can become the observer of your emotions; rather than using your emotional state to define yourself by can you separate yourself from it and simply notice what you are experiencing.
