In this episode, Mostafa Maleki & Mahmoud Javadi continued to discuss different aspects of the scientific cooperation and science diplomacy between Iran and Germany. Since the theme of the episode is related to that of the previous episode, Mahmoud reviewed what had been said and shared in the last episode and Mostafa provided a recent history of Iranian-German science cooperation and science diplomacy in particular. In addition, IRAN-DACH Podcast was honored and privileged to conduct an interview with Professor Dr. Mohammad R. Farzanegan who is a Professor in Economics of the Middle East (since 2012) at the Center for Near and Middle Eastern Studies (CNMS) & School of Business and Economics of Philipps-Universität Marburg in Germany. Professor Farzanegan depicted how Germany sees the scientific cooperation and science diplomacy and explained his ongoing scientific project between Iran and Germany, known as NADIMA. Since the interview was pre-recorded, Mostafa and Mahmoud, then, exchanged views on Dr. Farzanegan's ideas and words and eventually raised a number of challenges the Iranian-German scientific cooperation and science diplomacy is facing. They conclude the episode with a couple of recommendations for the Iranian side on augmenting its scientific cooperation and science diplomacy with Germany. The interview was conducted on February 23, and the episode was recorded on March 3, 2021. The entire episode is in Farsi.

در این اپیزود، مصطفی مالکی و محمود جوادی بحث های خوددر خصوص ابعاد مختلف همکاری های علمی و دیپلماسی علم بین ایران و آلمان را ادامه دادند. از آنجایی که موضوع این اپیزود با موضوع اپیزود قبلی «ایران-داخ پادکست» مرتبط بود، مروری بر آنچه در اپیزود قبلی اشاره شد، صورت گرفت و همچنین تاریخچه همکاری های علمی و دیپلماسی علم بین ایران و آلمان در سال های اخیر مورد اشاره قرار گرفت. علاوه بر آن، «پادکست ایران-داخ» مفتخر بود که مصاحبه ای با آقای دکتر محمدرضا فرزانگان، استاد محترم اقتصاد خارمیانه در دانشگاه ماربورگ، انجام داده و صوت آن را در این اپیزود پخش نماید. در ادامه پادکست و پس از پخش مصاحبه با پرفسور فرزانگان که در خصوص نگاه آلمان به همکاری های علمی و یپلماسی علم و همچنین پروژه خودشان با عنوان «ندیما» صحبت کرده بودند، مصطفی و محمود ایده های دکتر فرزانگان را به بحث و تبادل نظر گذاشتند و چندین چالشی که همکاری های علمی ایران و آلمان و همچنین دیپلماسی علم دو طرف با آن مواجه است را مورد واکاوی قرار دادند. در انتهای اپیزود، چند پیشنهاد مشخص با موضوع بهبود همکاری های علمی ایران و آلمان و دیپلماسی علم مطرح شد. مصاحبه با دکتر فرزانگان در تاریخ 5 اسفند و این اپیزود در تاریخ 13 اسفند 1399 ضبط شده است
