Ramin Mortazavi has worked in film and television for nearly three decades. The son of a media mogul who founded the Sepas Film Awards in Iran, Ramin was destined for a career in entertainment. After earning a B.A. in Broadcasting from Arizona State University in 1997, he interned on shows like Entertainment Tonight and The Leeza Gibbons Show and worked on the film Freeway. This led to producing commercials, including for The Orleans Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. In 2000, he associate produced the indie film 21, which won Kodak's Best Picture at the Rhode Island International Film Festival. His brother, Joubin Mortazavi, an Emmy-nominated editor for Survivor, wrote and produced the film. In 2002, Ramin transitioned to post-production, freelancing as an editor on hit shows such as Punk'd, Pimp My Ride, The Hills: New Beginnings, Siesta Key, Shahs of Sunset, Botched, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Orange County, and Vanderpump Rules. His work on Vanderpump Rules season 10 earned the show two Emmy nominations, including one for Ramin in Outstanding Picture Editing for an Unstructured Reality Program.
