As part of our Drivers of color series Bill Lester joins us to discuss diversity and inclusion in motorsports.
Lester became the third African-American driver to enter NASCAR's top series making his debut in 2006.
A University of Berkeley graduate with a degree electrical engineering computer science (EECS). Lester has also competed in the Rolex Sports Car Series as well as the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.
In 2007 Lester was the only African-American racing full-time in NASCAR. Lester faced many adversities during his time in the sport often been booed by fans during races.
