I'm Laura 3️⃣4️⃣ 👸🏻 Mum to 11 year old Millie 🐾 Dog Mum to Frankie our cocker spaniel💍 Married to Alan nearly 10 years! 𝟮𝟬𝟭𝟴 March - My 41 year old sister passed away after having Sarcoma cancer August - Age 28 - I was diagnosed with primary breast cancer, successful surgery & treatment 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟮 April - my 42 year old brother was diagnosed & continues to battle stage 4 colon cancer 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟯 April - age 33 - I was diagnosed with secondary/stage 4/incurable breast cancer spread to my bones & liver So why am I telling you all of this... Well I started an Instagram page: @𝙖𝙗𝙘𝙙𝙛𝙪𝙘𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙧 last year not only to raise awareness around cancer, more specifically breast cancer BUT to give people hope, the hope I looked for that day & months following after my 2nd diagnosis. I know for a fact the page has helped people in many ways (without blowing my own 🎺 🤣). I want to reach as many people as I can & I'm so grateful Laura has been so supportive of this & willing to open her platform to me 🥰 October is breast cancer awareness month (BCAM) so I am hoping to bring a different spin on it with what I have learned, my journey so far & the work I have been doing with some amazing people & charities. As you have probably gathered I can talk/type for Scotland especially when it's something that I'm passionate about so I will be sticking around longer than just October... Because let's face it 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀𝗻'𝘁 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗮 ** 𝗶𝗳 𝗶𝘁'𝘀 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗿 𝗻𝗼𝘁!! I'm so excited to get started & hopefully help so many of you amazing ladies out there!!
