"Communication is always a two-sided phenomenon. It requires a message. It requires a medium, speech, email, chat, whatever. It requires a recipient. And, of course, it requires a follow-up action.
Without a follow-up action from you, while I was talking to you, this was not a communication. Your response finally made it a communication between the two of us."
