For the record, I love Denmark and I love Aarhus but it is time to talk about the problem of structural racism in Denmark. That discussion can no longer be swept under the carpet of Hygge Racism. Structural Racism is also known as Institutional or systemic racism. It is a form of racism that is embedded in the laws and regulations of a society or an organization. And what is Hygge Racism? Its simply a Danish version of structural and systematic racism, that claims there is no racism in Denmark while beign racist in principle and practice.
What makes me an expert on structural racism?
I am a graduate of the intensive Conflict Analysis program with the United Nations Peace University. In that program I learned in great detail about Structural violence and Structural Racism. I also have previous personal experience with racism and the court system in Denmark and I am one of the few who actually went to court and won a legal victory against racism in Denmark.
