Diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2013, Brittany was forced to leave her home state of California in a move to Oregon so she could take advantage of their Medical Aid in Dying law. Her husband, Dan Diaz, was with her throughout this experience, supporting and loving her throughout her bout with cancer.
