Danderine was some kind of hair treatment to reduce disease of the scalp without making people go cuckoo for cocoa-puffs. Maybe the word “dandruff” hadn’t been created yet. Danderine was apparently made to prevent dander, or dandruff. I just love the use of language in these old ads. Feel free to send in requests for other old or odd ads! I might be able to find them.
