Brand new season, Season 11 Episode 1 of Cheshire Matters, the first in the new season of your favourite 'digital' pub, featuring your absolutely fabulous and amazingly brilliant, witty and ridiculously talented 'Ab Fab' digital pub landlord and host Jonathan Starkey, with regular panelists Trevor Nicholls (the Gazelle), Mark Hartley (Stats Man) and Steve Ingram (formerly Lycra Man, the Raven (C-Caw), the Patriot, Captain Crow, Captain Pugwash lookalike, potential Eurovision Song Contest entrant (but not from Russia) and lately Right Engle and Captain Circumference 360º) dropping in for a digital pint to discuss important national, regional and local issues, sometimes irreverent, sometimes humorous, sometimes serious but always entertaining.
Again, the Gazelle is Zooming in with us again this week but unfortunately the Raven is still here in person along with the wonderfully factual Stats. Isn't the weather lovely! Along with an irreverent look at the usual weekly round up of current news stories which caught the Landlord's eye (very informative indeed) the discussion focus is again on the Conservative leadership election updates. What happened to our favourite Kemi Badenoch??? The local story is from Stats regarding Sankey Canal water levels and their effect on the environment followed with the usual Manifesto policy from the Gazelle with shout outs/shout downs and end of show quotes.
This week's podcast is a must listen to for all Conservatives Councillors in Cheshire. Wait until you hear our bird impressions, especially the Great Tits.
