The final installment of our limited series is with Cole Brown! Political commentator, writer, and author of the book, Greyboy: Finding Blackness in a White World. This sprawling conversation bounces from Cole’s inspirations for his book about being Black in white spaces to convincing yourself and others that your story is enough, from two bona fide storytellers. Cole has also worked with Matt James, the first Black Bachelor, and is currently working with Yara Shahidi. Yes, you read that correctly! Cole lives between Sydney, Australia, Los Angeles, and New York. He contributes regularly to the Sydney Morning Herald and Blavity on matters of race and politics and is a fixture on Australia’s news networks. Day-to-day, Cole is working on the screen-adaptation of Greyboy, as well as writing his follow-up novel.
