Manage episode 416806854 series 3519424
Mike is the CEO and Managing Partner of Paige Black, a strategic marketing company that uses a 3-step process to help companies grow revenue. Mike has experience in psychology, information technology, and marketing. He earned his master’s degree in social work from the University of Denver and, for seven years, led a team of therapists at the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Colorado School of Medicine.
A technology and innovation geek, Mike started building computers in 1992. Seeking to help small business owners better understand their target markets and the digital tools available to reach those markets, Mike used his dynamic expertise to launch the company that is now Paige Black in late 2013.
Here, Mike shares what led him down the marketing path and what inspired him along his career journey. Mike discusses his three-step process (plan, execute, and measure) and how he uses it to help clients grow their businesses. Mike also shares his perspectives on leadership, tips for having tough conversations, and how what he learned as a therapist helps him in his marketing business.
