Welcome to the podcast! Today, we are discussing the differences between spankings and time outs. Both methods of discipline are used by parents to help teach their children right from wrong, but they have some key differences. Spankings are a form of physical punishment and are intended to be a deterrent. Time outs are a form of non-physical punishment and are intended to be a teaching experience for the child. Spankings can be a fast, but ineffective way to punish a child, while time outs can be a slower, but more effective way to teach a child to understand their mistake.
