S2E13 Relentless Empathy & Going Deep On Understanding The Problem | Ryan Eder
Manage episode 287800096 series 2887096
Six months after graduating with his degree in industrial design Ryan Eder entered his senior thesis project, a novel piece of fitness equipment, into the International Design Excellence competition, along with 1700 other entries from 35 countries. And then he won. That begun the journey that has taken him (and his company IncludeHealth) from a beautifully designed piece of hardware into what has become equipment-agnostic software which lowers the barrier for entry into fitness. Hear his full story on this episode, and learn how he has been able to understand his customers’ problems so viscerally that they became emotional when using it for the first time.
