In this week's episode we discuss the history of civilisation collapse from the Bronze Age, to the Roman Empire, to the potential collapse of our globalised world due to climate change. Over at least the last 3,000 years civilisations/ Empires have risen and fallen in a cyclical manner. In the case of most of these Empires a combination of ecological disaster, wealth inequality and the breaking of the social contract between the elite and poor doomed them. Could the same issues doom our globalised world?
