1. Can’t Find My Way Home - Blind Faith

私自身の音楽スタイルは友人によく、「フォーク」と言われます。たぶん理由は、曲を書くとき、バンドアレンジを決める前にアコギで始めるからです。すべての曲の軸に、アコギの音があります。そして、この曲はそのいい例だと思います。ボーカルの音域は高いと思いますが、Eric Claptonのギター弾くは柔らかくて、生き生きしています。見失う感覚を歌う、歌詞にも共感します。本当にきれい曲なです。

When talking about my musical style with my friends, they often tell me that I play folk music. Maybe the reason is because, before I arrange my songs for a band, I always begin with an acoustic guitar. The sound of an acoustic guitar is at the core of all of my songs. The sound of an acoustic guitar influences my music, and I think this song is a good example. While I think the vocal range is a little high for me, Eric Clapton’s guitar playing feels delicate, but very alive. I also really empathize with the lyrics — the feeling of being lost. It’s a really beautiful song.

2. Autumn Fog Lifts (Yearbook Version) - Milieu

１０年前に私は「Boards of Canada」を初めて聞きました。彼らの音楽を聞くのは大切な経験でした。この懐かしいサウンドを自分の音楽に反映したいと思っています。私は普段エレックトロニックミュージックをあまり作らないから(笑)それは難しいけど、いつも私の脳裏にはあります。２週前に、「Milieu」を見つけた時、「Boards of Canada」の時と同じ感覚でした。私は自分を、一人で空港にいる子供のように感じました。自分の高校の卒業式に戻っていました。過去を泳いでいるような気持ちになりました。

I first listened to Boards of Canada 10 years ago. Listening to their music was an important experience for me. The sound of nostalgia was something I wanted to include in my own music. Because I don’t really play electronic music, that’s a little difficult to do, but I always remembered that nostalgic feeling. Two weeks ago, I found Milieu. It was the same experience. It was the feeling of being a child alone in an airport. It was the feeling of being back at my high school graduation. I was swimming in my past.

3. Nagao Shi - HiGE

少し前に、ふみなさんはSpotifyプレイリストを送ってくれた。その時に、私はあまり新しい音楽を聴けなかった （実は、状況はまだ変わらないですがw）。その時のプレイリストから、初めてHiGEを知りました。最初に「これはくるりみたいだ！」と思い、本当にワクワクしました。HiGEの1stアルバムには素晴らしい曲がいっぱいあります。この曲は、当時の私の気分にぴったりでした。ベイシックドラムビートとサイケデリックギターを聴くのとき、いつも嬉しいです。最世コンボですw。

Not too long ago, Fumina sent me a Spotify playlist. At that time, I couldn’t listen to new music (that situation hasn’t really changed haha). From that playlist, I learned of HiGE. At first, I thought “This sounds just like Quruli!”, so I felt really excited. Their first album is full of great songs. This song, at that point in time, really matched my mood. The combo of a simple drum beat and psychedelic guitar is the best!

4. Bliss Out - Hadouken!

私はとても、ダブステップが大嫌いですw。でも、かっこい曲を聴いたら「これは良くない」という嘘は言えないです。これは、そんな曲です。サビを覚えるのが簡単、そして歌うのは楽しいです。私は今のUKミュジックシーンについてあまり知りません。もっと調べたい。今はきっといい時期ですね。

So, I really hate dubstep haha. But, if I hear a good song, I can’t lie and say “this song isn’t good”. This is what happened here. The chorus is easy to remember, and it’s super fun to sing. I don’t really know much about the modern UK music scene. I want to learn more. Now might be a good time.

5. So Blue - Jübl

このプレイリストはシューゲイザー曲なしでできません。まだ大切のスタイル、それでよく次の段階について考えます。どんな音使えられますか？この曲にトラップビートが聞こえます。シューゲイザーとヒップホップのコンビは昔で生まれました。

This playlist wouldn’t be complete without a shoegaze song. It’s still an important style to me, so I always think about what the next evolution of the genre might be. What kind of sounds can people use? In this song, you can hear a trap beat. The combination of hip hop and shoegaze was born a long time ago...

6. Erola - Am-Boy

音がカラオケみたい！とても懐かしいサウンドです。このスタイルでは色々なことができます。私がやるならできれば、もっとダークの音を見たい。カラオケの音とダーク感じのコントラストは人工的な感じを作れます。ロボットの涙のような、そんな雰囲気で。

This sounds like karaoke! It’s quite nostalgic. There are a lot of things you can do with this style. If I could, I would use it to explore darker sounds. The contrast between karaoke sounds and a dark vibe could create ‘artificial emotion’. Like tears from a robot. Or something.
