201008. Day 115 of #AliveWithArt. Around 4 years ago, I started writing my song called "Just Another Day", and finally felt brave enough to release it around 2 years ago - at least, the very rough and raw version of it online. It's taken me a long time to be comfortable with this season of my life and acknowledging it happened. Was going through quite a lot during the time that I was writing this and so I felt like I just wanted to document this moment from when I was starting to write the song and some ideas I had for it. I also went through a bit of the lyrics and explained what they meant to me personally! I noticed that for this video, I focused a lot on my stress over "work" and the struggles I went through back in 2017-2018 but as I re-watch this now, I know that it was just a coping mechanism as I was also still struggling to recover from losing my friend to cancer less than a month before I recorded this. Fortunately as I type this, I'm in a much better place mentally!
