We begin a new pantheon of mythology today and we are traveling to the Pacific Ocean to the islands of Hawaii. We are focusing an introduction to the pantheon, particularly Ku and Hina, and the significance of Lono as the god of agriculture and rain. They discuss the cultural practices surrounding these deities, including the Makahiki celebration, which emphasizes peace and gratitude for the harvest. The conversation highlights the unique aspects of Hawaiian spirituality and the integration of mythology into daily life.
