MY GOD Just because God is real, it doesn't mean he's yours. And even if he's "Yours, it doesn't mean you have him. Today we will seek the Lord, and do what it takes to make him "My God" Our first possession as children. My Feelings (Lowest Form Possession) * Hunger / Anger * Satiasfaction / Peace * Happiness / Love My Things (Higher Level of Posession) * People, Relationships * Clothes, Cars, House, Money * Food, etc My Mind (Highest Level of Possession) * My Knowledge * My Understanding * My Wisdom / Conscience But in all these things are an earthly possession and will soon fade away. Knowledge will cease", So in order to preserve our souls, we need an eternal element to our existence. We need My God. Gen 28:20 And Jacob vowed a vow, saying, If God will be with me, and will keep me in this way that I go, and will give me bread to eat, and raiment to put on, Gen 28:21 So that I come again to my father's house in peace; then shall the LORD be my God: What will it take for you to make him yours... Jesus used the phrase "My God" twice 1. Jesus was on the brink of the ultimate transformation If you have not been to the brink then you probably haven't found your God. 2. Joh_20:17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God. Jesus was transformed but how can he be ascended but not yet ascended. This is how it is when you find "Your God" You become one in the spirit. You become an earthly contradiction. Even thou you may be persecuted, You are blessed. Even tho you are hungry, You are full Even tho you are homeless, you are not forsaken. Have you found your God? What you see on the outside is not what is happening on the inside. Even thou you may be sick.
