We recorded this episode last week, but haven't been able to upload it until now, sorry for the delay, but...On this episode, we talk about a couple a groups of friends that help each other grow as well as a documentary about a director we love and admire. First, we talk about the movie Good Boys starring Jacob Tremblay about a group of tweens who find themselves in waters way above their maturity level in an R-rated comedy. Then we talk about a movie from our high school days about another group of nerdy friends and their brush with badassery in The Girl Next Door starring Emile Hirsch, Elisha Cuthbert, and Paul Dano. And to close out the episode we switch gears a bit to talk about a documentary that illuminates one of our favorite directors Hal Ashby in a movie simply called Hal.
