Ken and Michelle are joined by Ashley Stallings, Co-Founder, and Executive Director at Upper Valley Child Advocacy Center. Children’s advocacy centers (CACs) consist of trained professionals, who listen to a child’s story and then advocate for them throughout legal / mental health services.
DID YOU KNOW...1 in 10 kids will experience child sexual abuse and those numbers are increasing? Child sexual abuse is a hard topic to discuss but Awareness and Education are key to prevention of this epidemic.
What can YOU do?
If you suspect child abuse, neglect, or abandonment, please report to law enforcement and health and welfare. When reporting to law enforcement, please call the law enforcement agency in the location where the abuse occurred.
