(マタイ 5:5 JCB) 柔和で高ぶらない人は幸いです。全世界はそういう人のものだからです。

(Matthew 5:5 NIV) Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.

(ヨハネ 13:3-5 JCB) イエスは、父がすべてのものを与えてくださったことと、自分が神のもとから来て、ま;た神のもとに帰ろうとしていることを知り、 (4) 夕食の席からゆっくり立ち上がり、上着を脱ぎ、手ぬぐいを取って腰に巻かれました。 (5) そしてたらいに水を入れ、弟子たち一人一人の足を洗い、腰の手ぬぐいでふき始められたのです。

(John 13:3-5 NIV) Jesus knew that the Father had put all things under his power, and that he had come from God and was returning to God; (4) so he got up from the meal, took off his outer clothing, and wrapped a towel around his waist. (5) After that, he poured water into a basin and began to wash his disciples’ feet, drying them with the towel that was wrapped around him.

Jesus The Meek One

(ピリピ 2:5-9 JCB) 私たちに対するキリスト・イエスの態度を見ならいなさい。 (6) キリストは神であられるのに、神としての権利を要求したり、それに執着したりはなさいませんでした。 (7) かえって、その偉大な力と栄光を捨てて奴隷の姿をとり、人間と同じになられました。 (8) そればかりか、さらに自分を低くし、犯罪人と同じようになって十字架上で死なれたのです。 (9) しかし、それゆえに、神はキリストを高く天に引き上げ、最高の名をお与えになりました。

(Philippians 2:5-9 NIV) In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: (6) Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; (7) rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.(8) And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death—even death on a cross! (9) Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name,

God Lifts Those who Are Meek

(ヨハネ 13:4-5 JCB)夕食の席からゆっくり立ち上がり、上着を脱ぎ、手ぬぐいを取って腰に巻かれました。 (5) そしてたらいに水を入れ、弟子たち一人一人の足を洗い、腰の手ぬぐいでふき始められたのです。

(1 ペテロ 5:6 JCB) あなたがたは、神の力強い御手の下で自分を低くしていなさい。ちょうどよい時に、神はあなたがたを高く引き上げてくださるでしょう。

(1 Peter 5:6 NIV) Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.
