In this message Ps Monty talks about how we can be restored by God in any situation in these 3 points:

(Acts 16:16-18 NIV) Once when we were going to the place of prayer, we were met by a female slave who had a spirit by which she predicted the future. She earned a great deal of money for her owners by fortune-telling.(17) She followed Paul and the rest of us, shouting, “These men are servants of the Most High God, who are telling you the way to be saved.”(18) She kept this up for many days. Finally Paul became so annoyed that he turned around and said to the spirit, “In the name of Jesus Christ I command you to come out of her!” At that moment the spirit left her.

(使徒 16:16-18 JCB) ある日、川岸の祈り場に行く途中、私たちは悪霊につかれた、若い女奴隷の占い師に出会いました。彼女の占いのおかげで、主人たちは甘い汁をいっぱい吸っていたのです。(17) この女がついて来て、「この人たちは神のお使いだよ！あんたたちに、どうしたら罪が赦されるか教えてくれるんだよ」と大声で叫び続けました。(18) こんなことが毎日続いたので困り果てたパウロは、ある日、彼女に取りついた悪霊に、「イエス・キリストの名によって命じる。この女から出て行け！」としかりつけました。するとたちまち、悪霊は出て行きました。

1.The Slave Girl - Physical Restoration

若い女奴隷- 身体的な回復

(Acts 16:19-24 NIV) When her owners realized that their hope of making money was gone, they seized Paul and Silas and dragged them into the marketplace to face the authorities.(20) They brought them before the magistrates and said, “These men are Jews, and are throwing our city into an uproar (21) by advocating customs unlawful for us Romans to accept or practice.”(22) The crowd joined in the attack against Paul and Silas, and the magistrates ordered them to be stripped and beaten with rods. (23) After they had been severely flogged, they were thrown into prison, and the jailer was commanded to guard them carefully.(24) When he received these orders, he put them in the inner cell and fastened their feet in the stocks.

(使徒 16:19-24 JCB) 面白くないのは、この女の主人たちです。もうふところに金がころがり込むあてがなくなったので、その腹いせにパウロとシラスをつかまえ、広場にいる長官（ローマの植民地執政官）たちの前へ引きずって行き、口々に訴えました。(20-21)「このユダヤ人たちときたら、町をすっかりだめにしようって魂胆なんです。ローマの法律に反することばかり教えているのです。」(22) たちまち広場は、二人に反感をいだく人たちでいっぱいになりました。そこで長官たちは、二人を裸にし、むちで打つように命じました。(23) ビュッビュッと何度もむちが振り下ろされ、二人の背中から血がしたたり落ちました。そして二人は、牢に放り込まれました。「こいつらを逃がしでもしたら命はないものと思え」と脅された看守は、(24) 二人を奥の牢に入れ、厳重に足かせをかけました。

(Acts 16:25-26 NIV) About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them.(26) Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew open, and everyone’s chains came loose.

(使徒 16:25-26 JCB) 真夜中ごろ、パウロとシラスは、主に祈ったり、賛美歌をうたったりしていました。ほかの囚人たちもじっと聞き入っています。その時です。(26 )突然、大地震が起こりました。牢獄は土台からぐらぐら揺れ動き、戸という戸は開き、囚人たちの鎖もはずれてしまいました。

2.Paul and Silas- Situational Restoration

パウロとシラス - 状況の回復

(Acts 16:27-34 NIV) The jailer woke up, and when he saw the prison doors open, he drew his sword and was about to kill himself because he thought the prisoners had escaped.(28) But Paul shouted, “Don’t harm yourself! We are all here!”(29) The jailer called for lights, rushed in and fell trembling before Paul and Silas.(30) He then brought them out and asked, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” (31) They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.”(32) Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all the others in his house. (33) At that hour of the night the jailer took them and washed their wounds; then immediately he and all his household were baptized.(34) The jailer brought them into his house and set a meal before them; he was filled with joy because he had come to believe in God—he and his whole household.

(使徒 16:27-34 JCB) 看守が目を覚ますと、戸が全部開いています。看守は、てっきり囚人がみな脱走したものと思い、もうだめだとばかり、剣を抜いて自殺しようとしました。(28) その瞬間、パウロが叫びました。「早まるな！　全員ここにいる！」(29)看守はあかりを取って中に駆け込み、恐ろしさのあまりわなわな震えながら、パウロとシラスの前にひれ伏しました。(30) そして二人を外に連れ出し、「先生方。救われるには、どうすればよろしいのでしょう」と尋ねました。(31) 二人は答えました。「主イエスを信じなさい。そうすれば、あなたもあなたの全家族も救われます。」(32) こうして二人は、看守とその家の者たち全員に、主のことばを伝えたのです。(33) 看守は二人を引き取り、彼らの打ち傷をていねいに洗って手当てをしたあと、家族そろってバプテスマ（洗礼）を受けました。(34) それから、二人を自宅に案内し、食事を出してもてなし、全家族がクリスチャンになったことを心から喜び合いました。
