(１ペテロ 5:10 新改訳）あらゆる恵みに満ちた神、すなわち、あなたがたをキリストにあってその永遠の栄光の中に招き入れてくださった神ご自身が、あなたがたをしばらくの苦しみのあとで完全にし、堅く立たせ、強くし、不動の者としてくださいます。

(1 Peter 5:10 NIV) And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.

(創世記 41:42-43 ERV訳）するとファラオは王室の刻印が刻まれている指輪を外し、ヨセフの指にはめ込んだ。指輪だけではなく、麻布でできたコートを着せ、首には金のネックレスを付けさせた。 (43) 王はまたエジプトで第2位の地位を示す王室の馬車にヨセフを乗せた。護衛隊がその先を歩き、護衛隊が人々の前で「敬礼！」と一声かけると、人々は深々と敬礼した。このように王は、ヨセフをエジプトの地の全責任者として、それを公にした。

(Genesis 41:42-43 ERV) Then Pharaoh took off his ring with his royal seal on it. And he put it on Joseph’s finger. He also gave Joseph a fine linen robe. And put a gold chain around his neck. (43) The king told Joseph to ride in the second royal chariot. And the guards walking ahead of the chariot called out to the people, “Bow down!” So the king put Joseph in charge of all the land of Egypt.

1.ヨセフはビジョンを見続けた

Joseph Kept His Eyes On His Vision

(箴言 29:18 ERV訳） 神が与えてくれるビジョンがなければ、人々は自制心を失う。 しかし、神のことばに従う国は祝福される。

(Proverbs 29:18 ERV) When there is no vision from God, the people will lose self-control,

but the nation that obeys God’s law will be happy.

2.ヨセフはどんな状況でも信じて仕えた

Joseph Kept Believing And Serving No Matter The Circumstances

(マルコ 10:43-45 ERV訳）いいか！お前たちは、そうであっちゃいけない！上に立ちたいなら、喜んで彼らに仕えるんだ。(44)1番になりたけりゃ、召使いのように彼らに仕えるんだ。(45)人の子は仕えてもらうためではなく、『仕えるために来た』！それは、いのちと引き換えに多くの人が救われるためだ！」

(Mark 10:43-45 ERV) But it should not be that way with you. Whoever wants to be your leader must be your servant. (44) Whoever wants to be first must serve the rest of you like a slave. (45) Follow my example: Even the Son of Man did not come for people to serve him. He came to serve others and to give his life to save many people.”

(1 ペテロ 5:6 JCB）もしあなたがたが、神の力強い手の下で、謙虚にしているなら、ちょうどよいタイミングで、神は高く引き上げてくれる

(1 Peter 5:6 NLT) So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time he will lift you up in honor.

3.ヨセフは赦し、委ねていった

Joseph Forgave and Surrendered

(エペソ4:26-27 ERV訳）「イライラするような時があっても、その怒りに身を任せ、過ちを犯してはいけない！」——【詩篇4:4より引用】一日中カリカリして怒りにコントロールされてはいけないのだ。 (27)怒りを手放せずにいれば、自ら悪魔にボコボコに痛めつけるその機会を差し出しているようなものだ！

(Ephesians 4:26-27 ERV) “When you are angry, don’t let that anger make you sin,” and don’t stay angry all day. (27) Don’t give the devil a way to defeat you.
