The Pre-Hash Bash episode! Featuring Mr. Hash Bash, Adam L Brook; Hash Bash coordinator Nick Zettell; Hash Bash Organizing Committee members Rick and Jamie, plus Mark Passerini (OM of Medicine) and Anqunette Sarfoh (Qulture); leader of the Hash Bash house band Cosmic Knot, Tom Wall; and multiple Stanley Cup- winner Darren McCarty from the Detroit Red Wings.
Jazz Cabbage hosts Jamie Lowell and Rick Thompson are principals in the 2021 Digital Hash Bash broadcast. Thompson (Co-host) and Lowell (Presenting Speaker) will be featured prominently during the digital Hash Bash broadcast on April 3rd. Talking up all things Hash Bash are Passerini, Zettell and Sarfoh in the first half of the show. Hash Bash sponsors are making donations to the John Sinclair Foundation and the Michigan Cannabis Prisoner Freedom Fund, coordinated by the Committee. Broadcast will be available via Roku television network, Twitch, YouTube and Facebook.
In the second half we bring in Adam L Brook to talk about the inevitable gathering of people on the Diag on April 3, in defiance of University of Michigan campus regulations. Mr. Brook is the spokesperson for that unofficial smoke-out. Joining in is Darren McCarty, a sports legend and a cannabis entrepreneur with the Pincanna brand. He's spoken at several Hash Bash events in the past and is always fun to talk with. Also appearing: Tom Wall, lead singer and guitarist for Cosmic Knot, who famously played music with a cannabis plant during last year's Hash Bash broadcast. This year he and the band will repeat the feat by hooking electrodes up to a Cosmic Splooge cannabis plant and translating its electromagnetic signals into synth music.
Jamie and Rick are joined by Cabbage heads Jim Salame, Shelly Smith, Colin MacDougall, Berg from Medical Mondays and the always awesome Debra Young.
