Most businesses and entrepreneurs are laser focused on building brands that appeal to the consumer. They spend a ton of money on getting Instagram followers and going viral, but to no avail. What they don’t realize is that there’s a better (and less expensive) way to get in front of the consumer - and that’s through real estate agents. One relationship with a top producing agent in your city could be worth millions. Instead of trying to win consumers one-for-one, the right agent could lead you to their database of thousands of clients and customers. Industries like title, mortgage and home builders leverage this power and get a lot out of it. How do I become an agent ally? What do marketers and entrepreneurs get wrong about ROI? In today’s special replay episode, I’m sharing a recent conversation I had with videographer and Real Producers partner, AJ Kallas. I share the story of Real Producers, and talk about how to leverage the real estate agent community to grow your business. Many industries are missing the boat on saving consumer advertising dollars by spending money on getting real estate agents to connect them to their databases. -Remington Ramsey Things You’ll Learn In This Episode The power of becoming an agent ally Could businesses save ad dollars by shifting what they spend to get in front of consumers and putting it towards the real estate community? ROI = Reach Optimal Impact In the marketing game, ROI is often tied to getting a specific amount of money back, but it doesn’t always work that way. Why do we need to reframe this and tie ROI to visibility and awareness instead? A less painful path to entrepreneurship Many aspiring business owners think getting a job is a waste of time, but could a job be the key to building a successful venture? Guest Bio AJ Kallas is a professional videographer based in Indianapolis. He is passionate about helping real estate agents and personal brands nationwide leverage the power of video marketing to grow their businesses. AJ has been working in this field since 2019, and he has seen firsthand how real estate video production can make a significant difference in an agent's success. AJ’s community focus and passion for video marketing led him to begin working with real estate agents. He loves partnering with those who actively make their communities better places to live in. By working together, AJ and his clients can create real estate video marketing strategies that not only drive business growth but also have a positive impact on the community. Horses and human beings during a real estate transaction are a lot alike - they need to be handled with emotional intelligence. Purchasing or selling a home is a high stakes scenario with a lot of money and emotion on the line. Just like horses are sensitive to the emotions of their riders, consumers are sensitive to the emotions of their agent. Unfortunately, a lot of deals go south and people get hurt because agents lack the EQ required for things to go smoothly. In order to be great agents, we have to apply level-headedness to our transactions, and avoid showing strong emotions because it can ruin the transaction. Our guest has a horse farm and is a highly successful broker, and working with horses taught her a lot of real estate success. Brittney Pino started her own brokerage and earned $1 million in commissions as a single mom. What factors were key to her success? How do we increase our EQ? In this episode, she shares her story, why she bet on herself and started her brokerage, and what real estate agents need to implement to make more money. The life you’re living you’re choosing. If you don’t like it, you can make different choices. -Brittney Pino Things You’ll Learn In This Episode How to get out of your comfort zone If you look at the stories of many accomplished people, success is birthed from having your back up against the wall. Is there a way to ignite that fire inside without hitting rock bottom? Real estate clients are a lot like horses Emotional intelligence is key in real estate, and it’s something we can learn. “Invest in real estate, it’s the true path to wealth” they say. That’s not the whole story. True wealth doesn’t come from simply racking up assets, but by building business enterprises that produce passive income. So while buying up single-family, multi-family, short-term rentals and other investments is a big piece of the puzzle, that’s only step one. To fully experience the power of real estate, we have to take it a step further, and run those investments like a business. The challenge is: most people (even real estate agents) get so caught up in earning the next check and spending it that they don’t do what it takes to build wealth until it’s too late. How do we invest the right way? What’s the secret to success in real estate? In this episode, I’m joined by entrepreneur, investor and one of the most successful Real Producers publishers in the country, Nick Najjar. He shares how he’s been able to have so much success in business, and what people forget about building wealth. Investing in real estate doesn’t create true wealth, that’s only step 1. What actually creates wealth is acquiring properties and then running them like a business enterprise. -Remington Ramsey Things You’ll Learn In This Episode The secret to success is simple If anything holds us back in business, it’s letting our emotions get in the way of the reality of the situation. What emotions get in the way of what we need to do to succeed? How to double down on what works In our real estate businesses there are two kinds of tasks - non-urgent fires that feel important and the work that creates the results we want. How do we focus on the latter? What it takes to actually create wealth (it’s not just investing) Real estate investing alone won’t create financial freedom. What do we need to add if we want to truly have wealth? Guest Bio Nick Najjar is an entrepreneur, business investor, real estate investor and one of the most successful Real Producers publishers in the country. Many people in real estate think being a generalist is the fastest path to greatness. That couldn’t be further from the truth. We see it constantly with the agents we feature on this show. Some of the biggest and most successful names in this business are the ones specializing in the smallest niches. The more you can dominate your own corner of a market, the longer you’ll survive and thrive through industry shifts. In a real estate market that’s filtering out the weakest agents, strength comes from specialization, not spreading yourself too thin. There are many ways to niche yourself - you can go for a specific type of property. You can choose to invest more money in marketing when everyone else is backing away, or you can focus on the platforms you use. Whatever path you take, narrowing down your focus pays off massively in this industry. In this special episode, we’re highlighting 3 real estate professionals who’ve been winning through unique business models and niches. There’s a reason why some of the best teams are run by former athletes or coaches. That’s because sport is the ultimate training ground for a job like real estate. Athletes and coaches come into the business with the secret weapon already baked into their behavior. In sport, being the best isn’t about talent alone. It’s about developing yourself until you make a quantum leap. Real estate leaders and agents alike make one mistake: they think the quantum leaps will happen without the development phase, but that’s impossible. Before we can even think of greatness, we have to build the foundation. Development is all about doing the work, messing up, and mastering the necessary skills. Once we put enough time into that, the achievement and production will follow. How do we know we’re ready to build a team? What can we learn from athletes and the people who coach them? In this episode, I’m joined by top producing broker/owner, leader and former college athlete, Brad Noll. He shares what the industry gets wrong about building teams, and how we can do it right. You shouldn’t start a team until you know why otherwise you’re just going to hire a bunch of super expensive assistants. -Brad Noll Things You’ll Learn In This Episode The wrong reasons to start a team Starting real estate has become the default for agents who get a little bit of success. How do you avoid ending up with a bunch of expensive assistants? Quantum leaps don’t show up in production first We all want to achieve at a high level. In this instant gratification world, do we doom ourselves by trying to achieve faster than our development? Lessons from a college athlete and coach There are so many things about playing sports that translate into a successful real estate career. How did sport help Brad win in real estate? Guest Bio Brad Noll is a top producing agent and team owner. Since 2003, The Noll Team has been helping people in the Fort Wayne area find the freedom to live the lifestyle they want. Brad entered real estate after college having been inspired by his grandfather who had worked in real estate for 55 years. As a former college basketball player and coach, Brad Noll uses his background in sports to lead his team and develop his agents. In sales, we hear about the 20-60-20 rule: 20% of people you meet will always buy, 20% will never buy, and 60% are on the fence, waiting for you to tip the scales in your favor. The concept is widely accepted for initial sales, but we rarely apply it to ongoing relationships or repeat business, and we should. Many of us assume that once someone buys from us, they’re automatically in the "always-buy" category. In reality, the 20-60-20 rule resets. Once they become a client, that 60% in the middle still requires your attention, effort, and value to keep them coming back. The goal isn’t just to get a client. It’s to keep them. How do we turn a single sale into a loyal client? In this episode, I talk about the 20-60-20 rule, how it applies to your business and what it takes to have long-term success in sales. The best testimonial from a client is when they give you more people to call because you did a good job. -Remington Ramsey Things You’ll Learn In This Episode Proximity beats proficiency Why are you more likely to get business from someone by being in front of them, even if we’re not good at the job? 3 steps to creating a loyal client How do you make sure that you get a client to use you over and over again, and also want to tell others about you? The sell doesn’t stop at the sign up Many salespeople relax once they’ve got the client. Why is this an expensive mistake? In business, especially in sales, it’s easy to get comfortable once you’ve experienced some success. You attend conferences, listen to experts, and take notes—but how much of that information actually gets applied? How much of it truly makes a difference in your business or life? For many, the answer is: not much. Year after year, they hear the same advice, nod along in agreement, and yet nothing changes. The real magic happens when you don’t just listen but take action—and take it seriously. The concept of being a student, of continually learning and applying knowledge, is what separates those who grow and thrive from those who stagnate. In this episode, I talk about the power of becoming a true student in this business. I’ll explore the difference between merely attending events and actively applying the lessons to propel yourself to the next level in real estate. Things You’ll Learn In This Episode Refine your activities If you’ve already implemented a tactic, there might still be room for improvement. How do you determine if you could be doing the tactic better? The most powerful question you can ask yourself It’s easy to passively consume content, but how do you know if you’re internalizing it enough to confidently share it with others? Between challenges in the market and the changes to legislation, 2024 wasn’t the easiest time to be in real estate. It’s hardly surprising that we’re expecting a 20% to 40% exit rate of licensed agents. But for some agents, tough markets are actually the best time to grow. Even though the market was at an all time low, some agents have been able to thrive, raise their commissions and grow their market share. How do you join their ranks? When an agent is doing all the right things, buyers and sellers will never bat an eye on hiring you and paying you what you’re worth. 2025 is promising to be a great year with a ton of opportunities for some agents. What do you need to be paying attention to if you want to win over the next 12 months? Has anything good come out of the NAR settlement? How do you raise your commissions this year? In this episode, I’m joined by Broker/Owner and CEO of Lamacchia Realty, Anthony Lamacchia. He shares what it takes to succeed in real estate in today’s market. At this time of the year, inventory is at its lowest so buyers are back to competing, sellers are back to ruling the roost because there’s less to choose from. -Anthony Lamacchia Things You’ll Learn In This Episode The real impact of the settlement Now that the dust of the buyer agency ruling has started to settle, have any positives come out of it? How to have staying power in this business Real estate is set to have a 20% to 40% exodus rate. What is the secret to thriving for decades in this industry? Acquisition vs. opening a new office in a city One of Anthony’s growth strategies is buying real estate companies that have been in the business for 30 to 50 years. Why do they use this strategy instead of opening their own companies in new cities? Guest Bio Anthony Lamacchia is the Broker/Owner and CEO of Lamacchia Realty and Lamacchia Companies: Lamacchia Property Management, Lamacchia Property Development, and Crush It In Real Estate Currently, Anthony spends his time managing the companies, training agents, and strategically planning for the future. Molly’s poker games attracted Hollywood stars, business moguls, and athletes, creating an environment where money and fame collided. But what happens when the game you’re playing turns into a game of consequences? Are you positioning yourself in real estate where your success might come at a much higher cost? Are you pursuing deals without fully considering the risks involved? Molly Bloom’s involvement in illegal gambling led to her arrest, causing everything she had built to collapse. You’ve achieved financial success, but deep down, there’s still that sense of dissatisfaction - that lingering feeling that something’s missing. As agents and business owners, a bad day can kill our motivation and destroy our momentum - that is, unless we do something about it. Let’s face it, as frustrating as it can be, a bad day in real estate isn’t a catastrophe. It’s usually that no one picked up our call, or that we grinded all day with no results. In the grand scheme of things, that’s not a big deal, and you can easily turn this around. There’s one step you can take to not just get rid of the negativity, but actually do something positive. It’s as simple as writing a note. How can you use handwritten notes to turn around a bad day? In this episode, I talk about a simple technique to cure a bad day. I’ve learned that when you become everything to what a need is out there, there’s no denying that people are going to magnetize towards that. -Chris Mosier The real estate landscape is competitive, and without a clear niche, it’s easy to get lost in the shuffle. Many real estate professionals face the same dilemma of getting stuck in a sea of generic listings, unable to differentiate themselves or their brand. Launching a franchise, especially in a new state, is daunting enough, but focusing on a niche like lakefront properties adds another layer of complexity. But what if you could turn that niche into your biggest advantage, becoming an expert in that field? How valuable would it be to offer something truly unique that draws clients to you? Chris “The Lake Realtor” Mosier, broker and listing agent at Lake Front Living joins me to talk about her journey owning a franchise and growing it nationally and how she found her passion in lake homes. Three Things You’ll Learn In This Episode Intentionality when it comes to family We need to be more intentional when it comes to what we plan and create for our families. How does this contribute to the memories they make and carry? Generalist vs. specialist If we need brain surgery, we’re going to want a specialist, not a generalist. Why does the same apply when we want to purchase a lake home? Why some things aren’t better done alone A lot of money and time can be wasted doing things on our own if we’re not educated properly on it. Can we save time and money by asking for help? Guest Bio As the driving force behind Ohio's Premier Lakefront Realtor Brokerage, Chris Mosier's mission is to unite buyers and sellers of lakefront properties across the state. Since founding Lakefront Living Realty—The Lake Team in 2015, the brokerage has expanded to include four virtual offices located at Hoover Reservoir, Apple Valley Lake, Candlewood Lake, and Put-In-Bay. Each office is staffed with resident realtor specialists who have an intimate knowledge of their respective lakes and markets. Chris is also excited about adding Buckeye Lake and Indian Lake to the roster this season. The brokerage's membership in every MLS in the state ensures that their listings receive statewide exposure, catering to buyers who prefer to be within a 2-3 hour driving radius from their home. Their custom website simplifies the search process, focusing solely on lake homes. In 2017, Chris partnered to franchise Lakefront Living Realty International, which is now operating in 12 states and is steadily working toward a nationwide presence—one lake at a time. Chris is honored to have been recognized in Entrepreneur Magazine's Franchise 500 for 2023, a distinction achieved by less than 5% of real estate franchisors. Although not yet ranked, Chris is determined to change that in the coming year, with eyes set on global lakefront domination. When people talk about what it takes to succeed, a lot of things come up. Motivation, drive, persistence and skill are all important, but one thing that’s highly underestimated and underutilized is humor. We might not think making someone laugh can be a gamechanger in business. The truth is, people are more likely to trust us, buy what we sell and listen to what we have to say through humor. It might not be something we’re taught, but anyone can learn how to be funny and add some lightheartedness to our communication and even our training. What can the most talented actors and comedians teach us about scripts? Why is grit so critical to our success? In this episode, I’m joined by author, speaker, thought-leader, coach and trainer, Les McGehee. He shares why humor and comedy are the things that propelled him to success. He also talks about how we can infuse what we do with some humor and levity. The Realtors and comedians we admire have learned so many scripts and structures that they just flow through them. -Les McGehee Three Things You’ll Learn In This Episode -The power of grit, persistence and humor In school we were taught how to write, read and count. What were some of the missing pieces of our education? -What went well and why The world operates on a negativity bias. We’re more focused on our weaknesses, but our strengths are what pull us forward. How do we change how we see things? -What great actors teach us about scripts A lot of training in real estate is around scripts, but why do we need to take it further than just memorizing words? Guest Bio Les McGeehee is an author, speaker, thought-leader, coach and trainer. Correction: In our recent episode, we incorrectly referred to Kyampisi Childcare Ministries as a "partner" of N2Gives. While Real Producers has supported Kyampisi Childcare Ministries, we wish to clarify that N2Gives is not a partner of Kyampisi Childcare Ministries, nor is it otherwise associated with or endorsed by N2Gives. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused. In Uganda, the horror of child sacrifice persists, driven by a chilling belief that such acts can bring wealth and power. Many who may not even believe in witchcraft see it as an opportunity to exploit and manipulate, taking advantage of vulnerable communities. Imagine the anguish of families torn apart by the loss of innocent children, sacrificed for the promise of prosperity. This gruesome reality is what Peter Sewakiryanga confronts daily through Kyampisi Childcare Ministries (KCM). Peter and KCM tirelessly work to eradicate child sacrifice by offering love, support, and practical assistance to affected families. Through education, community outreach, and advocacy, they are pioneering a path towards healing and justice. In this episode, executive director at Kyampisi Childcare Ministries in Uganda joins me to talk about the dark reality of child sacrifice, why it is still rife despite many attempts to abolish it and how KCM is bringing justice to victims and their families. To contribute to this cause, visit https://kyampisi.org/ and help abolish sacrifice. There is a lack of awareness and there is a fear of addressing the issue because somehow people believe that these spiritual powers that witch doctors have will attack them so the best thing to do is ignore it. -Peter M Sewakiryanga Three Things You’ll Learn In This Episode -Why child sacrifice is kept hush The plague of child sacrifice troubles many communities, but why is it kept so quiet? Why don’t people take action against it? -Battles being fought to bring justice Apart from fighting an ongoing battle to end child sacrifice in Uganda, what other battles are faced in the plight to keep children safe? -How witch doctors spread their messaging Though not made very public, witch doctors and witchcraft is rife. How do witch doctors manage to spread the message? Guest Bio Peter M Sewakiryanga, a Ugandan Pastor and leader of Kyampisi Childcare Ministries (KCM), is dedicated to eradicating child sacrifice in Uganda. His vision centers on eliminating this practice through the power of love. His multifaceted approach includes seeking justice for the victims, providing care for survivors and their families, and fostering transformation in communities ravaged by this barbarism. The village of Kyampisi, situated an hour from Uganda's capital, serves as the epicenter of this tragic issue. In 2008, Peter made a deliberate decision to relocate there. He established a church and a school, recognizing the need for improved healthcare and envisioning the establishment of a clinic as part of his mission. Visit https://kyampisi.org/…

On top of that, being AI-proficient instantly differentiates us from other agents in the eyes of the consumer. But there’s an important aspect of AI a lot of people miss - training it to sound like us. The more time we put into this, the more value we can extract out of it. What if I told you that the painful failure you’re experiencing isn’t the end of the story but just the middle? My high school basketball coach dared to believe we could take on the best team. Imagine going from earning $700k, getting all the accolades and being able to afford whatever you want to the brink of bankruptcy. Hiding your Range Rover from the repo man, your own home going into foreclosure and counting every penny. Back in 2008, that was enough for many real estate agents to throw in the towel and leave the industry. For Michelle Fermin failure wasn’t an option. It’s easy to feel like giving up is the only option when everything starts to crumble, but here’s the truth: when things get tough, it’s time to pivot. It’s time to get creative and adapt. As AI becomes more deeply ingrained in our daily lives, everyone wants to know one thing: can AI mimic the very qualities that define us and make us great at our jobs? Can it simulate the self-awareness, empathy, adaptability, and genuine connection of human beings? Not yet. While AI can certainly support real estate professionals, there are human qualities it can never replicate. The challenge for agents and leaders is mastering those human skills while leveraging AI to do everything else more efficiently. How can we use our human qualities to build stronger connections with clients? What steps can we take to develop the skills that AI can’t mimic? In this clip, I’m joined by the founder of MindShift Labs, Mike Lee. We talk about why the future of real estate is still human and how to use our humanity as an advantage in the real estate industry. The advantage that we have over AI is our humanity. -Mike Lee Things You’ll Learn In This Episode Your story matters As a real estate leader, sharing your personal story can create a space where others feel understood and valued. How can opening up about our own experiences encourage others to share theirs? Communication, connection and challenges. A common mistake real estate leaders make is challenging individuals before building a genuine connection. How does this undermine trust and motivation and what can we do instead? Connect with yourself first. Building a strong connection with yourself lays the foundation for meaningful relationships with others. How can deepening self-connection enhance your relationships with those around you? Guest Bio Mike Lee is the founder of MindShift Labs, a company dedicated to helping leaders, athletes, and entrepreneurs enhance their performance through mental resilience and emotional intelligence. Drawing from his expertise in high-performance psychology and leadership development, Mike works with individuals and teams to cultivate a "mindshift"—a transformative approach that builds clarity, focus, and adaptability in high-stress environments. There are two ways to maximize your income as a real estate agent. You can stay in production, hold onto the entire transaction and never experience the time freedom this business offers. Or you can relinquish the transaction, get your time back and earn money through leverage and expansion. For the short-sighted, option 1 works, but that’s how we end up with agents who are stuck selling real estate longer than they need to. The agents who give up money for more time have balance and a sustainable career trajectory in the business. Rob Ellerman chose the second option, and grew his income through expansion teams instead of production, and today he’s closing in on $1 billion in volume. What drove him to build his business this way? Why is a slow market such a good time to double down on advertising? How can team leaders provide value to their agents? In this episode, I’m joined by entrepreneur, expansion team leader and the first Real Producer cover in Kansas City, Rob Ellerman. He shares why he took a different path to growth, marketing strategies and the biggest mistake agents make. The most money you can make on any given transaction is if you do the whole thing yourself. I’m willing to give money up in order to have more time. -Rob Ellerman Things You’ll Learn In This Episode A Warren Buffett approach to expansion Typically when agents do expansion teams, they expand within the same brokerage brand. Why does Rob expand through different brands in different locations? Time to double down on advertising In a recession, most agents will back out of paying for billboard advertising. Why is this actually the best time to pay for it? The problem with growing through production The majority of real estate agents would pick a higher commission check over time freedom. Does this set them up for a trap later on? Guest Bio Rob Ellerman is a real estate leader, entrepreneur and owner of the Rob Ellerman Team with The ReeceNichols Company. With expansion teams in several cities, Rob’s Team earns over $800 million annually and is one of the fastest growing real estate teams in the country. The Rob Ellerman team is #1 in Kansas City for homes sold and #1 team in Missouri and Kansas. Follow @therobellermanteam on Instagram. Many agents enter the industry thinking it’s all about selling. But, over time, some discover a higher calling—coaching. While selling helps individuals, coaching impacts entire communities, creating bigger opportunities for everyone involved. It’s a shift that takes your real estate career to a new level, allowing you to make a lasting difference in people’s lives. The pivot from selling to coaching isn’t just about you, it’s about expanding your reach. As a coach, you help others in your world achieve more than they ever thought possible. Building something that stands the test of time takes immense dedication and vision. The real estate agents who rise to the top quickly know one thing: this job isn’t about the legalese and the things you learn when you get licensed. What actually gets you ahead in the game are our people skills and the ability to cater to the needs of our clients. The problem is, too many agents get into the business focusing on themselves. They end up at a point where they hate real estate and want to find another career path. That’s where Parminder Singh found himself until he changed his approach. In real estate, you either have what it takes to make $500k or you don’t. What holds people back from the income level they want is putting their focus on the wrong things. We think prioritizing everyone else is what will allow us to succeed but we actually have to learn to respect ourselves more. We pour everything into our businesses and leave very little for our families instead of giving them our best. We chase small wins instead of making the long-term legacy play. What if we could make a leap in our income by making small changes to how we do things? How can we open our own inner dialogue so we can grow? How do we build strong relationships and connections while still respecting ourselves? In this episode, I’m joined by the co-founder of Lopez & Lopez REALTORS® and author of “The Best Way to Do Everything Wrong”, Tyler Lopez. We talk about the value of respecting ourselves as business owners, and what keeps us from earning what we want. Everything in life is basically relationship building. -Tyler Lopez Things You’ll Learn In This Episode Independence vs teamworkCompeting alone and winning with a team are not mutually exclusive. As real estate pros, we can swing from feeling like the greatest salespeople to wanting to quit very quickly. If a consultation goes well, we’re at the top of the world. If we don’t get a sale, we feel rejected, dejected and ready to leave the business entirely. The best salespeople aren’t immune to this emotional rollercoaster, but they deal with it differently. Of course, the rejection hurts, but instead of licking their wounds, they bounce back faster so they can win the next deal. How do we learn to move through rejection faster? How do we better handle the emotions that come with working in sales? In this episode, I share one lesson I have learned from the great agents we’ve featured in the magazine. People think once you reach a certain point in sales, you won’t suffer from the same emotions negative everyone else does. That’s not true. The only difference is the amount of time you let it affect you. -Remington Ramsey Things You’ll Learn In This Episode The challenge all salespeople faceReal estate sales can be an emotional rollercoaster. How do we create more emotional fortitude to reduce the ups and downs? Don’t lick your wounds for too longTop producers might feel the sting of a rejection, but they don’t dwell on it. How do they use negative emotions to get better? Surround yourself with people who support your dreamsAs people, we’re very easily influenced by the people we’re around the most.
