The hosts of this show are part of the MARs Youth Empowerment Movement, which falls under the auspices of Africa Unite. MARs is a youth-led movement, by and for young motivated migrants between the ages of 15 to 25 who are driven to be change agents in their communities around South Africa. The movement seeks to educate migrants about their basic human rights so that they can advocate for themselves. In this episode, Rose and Kiza give us a more detailed explanation of the work done by Africa Unite and MARs as well as the goals of the show, which include providing a safe space for marginalised communities and a platform to highlight the success stories of migrants in South Africa.…
